This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Platform products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

That's great news, should be available when we next upgrade. Thanks
This Feature should be available as described in the documentation: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/urbancode-deploy/7.2.1?topic=scripts-storing-reusable-post-processing
It should be available starting with UCD Version 7.1.2
Thank You for providing this detailed input!
Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.
Are there too many pre/post processing steps to choose from?
Yes they number in the hundreds on our system.
Could there be specific code in those scripts which other teams are not allowed to see?
Not necessarily, but in my organisation, like many others I'm sure, there's a 'least privilege access' policy. The 'all or nothing' permissions of post processing scripts is not consistent with this policy, access is therefore restricted to admins only.
Would a restrictive access lead to duplicated effort of creation of scripts?
Potentially yes, but that's no different to other resources with team based permissions.
For info: URBANCODE-I-430 also requests this feature
Thanks
To fully understand the idea and to finalize the review, could you please provide more details about the use case when this feature makes sense?

Please provide your feedback in short time to finalize the review process.
