Do not install Microsoft Access database engine when installing ClearQuest

ClearQuest clients are deployed on end users' Windows PC. The Microsoft Access database engine is automatically installed when the CQ client is installed, but it clashes with the installed MS Office, making it impossible for MS Office to operate properly. Our customers' operations were affected.

    could you please provide some further information:

    • ClearQuest version

    • MS Office version

    • how installation was done (silent install with predefined setup, manual)

    • did you create a support ticket for this issue?
