Metadata for Teams and Groups

Would it be possible to have a description or metadata field within the teams and groups.

Currently we need to manage and maintain an external file that contains owners and approvers for team and group access requests, this can be difficult to maintain given the volume of teams and groups we need to maintain.

It would also mean users would understand who the team and group approvers and owners are , i understand that this content would only be visible to the System team members and existing team and group members, however teams can then become more self sufficient in the access management.

    Team, here are some follow-up questions we have for you:

    1) Should we call it description or notes? (for consistency, it should probably be description but not overly worried about which is used)

    2) Where would you like this information to be displayed in the web console? Any suggestions? when you click on a team, put it in there (see screenshots)

    3) Is a text field sufficient for your notes or description? What is the length of the field required? An example of what you would type in this field would be helpful for us to see (the metadata). Is a notes field (text area) that's large (e.g. 4k characters sufficient?) or do you need something else? yes, limit it to less than 4k i believe
