Invalidate LtpaToken post-logout

We believe this is actually yet another instance of a request this customer has made multiple times through various channels. (Maybe other customers too, but we know of this one for sure).

The issue customer raises is that "logout" does not actually invalidate the LtpaToken. The LtpaToken remains valid until its fixed expiration lifetime expires. If they save the LtpaToken before doing the logout (logout will typically erase the cookie from the browser) and then replay it, it is still valid and lets the user log in. The customer believes this is a security exposure.

The session identifier of a user would not expire after he/she logout from the application.

If a malicious user obtained the victim's session identifier, he/she could obtain unauthorised access to the victim's session even after victim already exiting from the application.

Thank you for the suggestion. The requirement does have merit, but looking at it with respect to our total backlog of requests we do not see sufficient interest in this enhancement to merit delivery any time in the foreseeable future. Given the unlikelihood that we would deliver this, we are declining the request rather than leaving it in an uncommitted state for an extended period of time. As an alternative, we would like to suggest considering running on Liberty which does support this capability as well as having many other benefits. If you would like to discuss this decision further, please contact Graham Charters <charters@uk.ibm.com>.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Application Platform
    Product - WebSphere Application Server

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Application Servers
    Product - WebSphere Application Server
