We plan to add a "Synchronize" command in the Build Active TC button menu. This will allow users to lock the button to a particular project and then just press the button to synchronize the active TC in that project.
This is very related to RFE 33525.
Status from Jim Burke indicates this will be part of 8.5.1 CP2.
