SSL Handshake should not fail if CRLDP present in certificate is not reachable

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

We have observed one behavior in WAS traditional after enabling CRL.

When any certificate presented to WAS for authentication and having CRLDP which is not reachable then SSL HANDSHAKE failed with below exception.
Caused by: javax.naming.CommunicationException: clab2795node03.netact.nsn-rdnet.net:636 [Root exception is javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: com.ibm.jsse2.util.k: PKIX path validation failed: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Could not determine revocation status]
at com.sun.jndi.ldap.Connection.<init>(Connection.java:261)

So we wanted some property that can be enabled in WAS so that if CRLDP is not reachable still SSL handshake will not fail.
Error only logged in logs.

Example : There is one property (com.ibm.security.enableNULLCRLDP=true) exists already to avoid failure if CRLDP not present in certificate.
Similarly we are requesting for property to avoid SSL failure when CRLDP is not reachable.

Above behavior we have observed in WAS traditional. If same behavior exists for WAS liberty as well then we are looking  for same implementation on Liberty as well.
