WSA to download patches to NAS/SAN disk and mount the volume to the managed host during patch deployment
WSA downloads the FixPacks to the "/home/wasadmin/.wsa/fixes" file system. My customer encounters a problem with 8.5.5 FP023. The size of FP is 6GB, and there is not enough space to download it. The customer's AIX admin set a limit to the size of the /home; it is 250MB max. When they install FP manually with IM, they can mount a NAS disk to store the large file. They can mount the NAS disk to another host to save time when installing FP in that host. We need similar flexibility in WSA to customize the location to store the patches and then mount it to the managed host during patch deployment.
