Automation of WAS Fixpack and IF

There are multiple security vulnerabilities affecting WebSphere Application Servers. It is almost every month we are applying interim fix or a fixpack. We are using Installation Manager to apply the fix.

Please develop the Installation Manager or create another tool to automate the implementation of fixpack and interim fix.

    Hi, we already have customers that have automated this process with tools like Urban Code Deploy or other automation tooling. UCD stops the app servers, calls the imcl command from the installation manager to install the fixpak using the repository from the internet and then starts everything up again. All without human interaction, only time scheduled and the name of the fixpak(s) passed to the automation tool.
