RELATED IDEAS

Versions selected in deployment page does not offer required information before submitting

Versions are selected in a side tab that must be closed to continue but they are not shown again in the main page. This means that users do not have clear information about what is going to be deployed before pushing de 'Submit' button. If we mix this issue with the request proposed in URBANCODE-I-691, the user will even need to make additional actions in order to review the versions that are going to be deployed. It would be great to have all the information in the main deployment dialog.

    One point we wanted to make. You do not have to close the 'Select Component Versions' dialog that appears to the right as you choose component versions. Here is an example of what I mean with the attached screen shot. Notice that as you select component versions, the screen on the left says "3 Selected" (for my example). Is this ok or maybe you have limited screen space so that is why you have to close the 'Select Component Versions' dialog to proceed?

    We have created a Jira discussion topic for this idea and will review with our development team. Could you please review the attached screenshot and let us know if this is what you are looking for (implementation may be a little different)?


    Also, what is your screen resolution size? I am guessing it is pretty low which is why you have to close the version selection dialog that appears.
