UUCD 7 UI has a lot of white space and less information can fit in a window

We're updating from UCD 6.2 to 7.1. The UI has changed a lot and we are still getting used to it, but there are a few things worth mentioning. In this case it's about how much information can fit in a window. Not as much as in 6.2!

I think the worst problem is the tables. I've already filed a ticket/RFE for the agents table which has more specific problems, but in general all of the tables have a lot of white space.

I've attached a screenshot showing the 6.2 UI (on the left) and the 7.1 UI.
I can easily get 10 rows in 6.2 at a large font and have the window larger to fit 10 rows at a smaller font in the 7.1 UI. Of course, I prefer the larger font.

There is a clear difference in the row heights. Column widths are bad too. The width of the Tags column in 7.1 doesn't shrink to fit the window and it can be wider than the column with the app name as seen in my snapshot.

I do like some of the changes. Having all of the actions in a standard popup is nice (but I'd prefer it on the left). It's also very great that it is easier to select the teams when creating a new application or component.
