Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.
Attachment (Use case): I have highlighted the Overwrite option which is exists for Unzip plugin. Same kind of functionality required for dcm plugins (Upload Directory , Upload from definition , Import Object etc.,) So , If we did not check mark the checkbox it should verify the files in Target datapower appliance and it should not overwrite the existing files and Objects.
However, files or Objects which are deployable shouldn't override the target Datapower appliance, that has the same name.We need to choose the check box as either to Override or not in the DCM plugin(Upload Files, Upload with definition, Import Object)
This is a very essential feature to be enabled via the Plugin. The feature is out of the box feature for SOMA scripts, and being used by most of the projects/clients. Request you to consider this as high priority for the next release.
We need option of Override to check or unchecked to verify files in target data power exists or not
if we disable override, it should not deploy the existing files in the target Data power appliance
I believe you are looking for the "Save Configuration" step: https://developer.ibm.com/urbancode/plugindoc/ibmucd/ibm-datapower-configuration-manager/1-2/available-steps/#save_configuration
This step will confirm the domain import and save all new configuration. Will this resolve your issue?
