RELATED IDEAS

Proper CDI Interceptor/Decorator support for Web Service container

To enable proper Interceptor/Decorator support for Web Service bean, and also for the singleton manage beans injected to the Web Service bean.

Currently,
1. For Web Service bean, Interceptor does not work.
2. For managed beans injected to the Web Service bean, Interceptor works.
3. For managed beans annotated with @Singleton, that are injected to the Web Service bean. Interceptor does not work. Only @PostConstruct method is invoked. @AroundInvoke is not invoked at all.

It is expected that Interceptor/Decorator should work for all the 3 scenarios above.

    I thas been determined that the problem described is a bug rather than a request for new function and therefore a bug has been raised against Open Liberty. Please see 19331 to track the status.
