Default entries for synergy connection at the eclipse plugin

Everytime you create a connection at the synergy eclipse plugin you have to search the installation path, set the userid, set the database path and the server name.
At our company we have one installation path and datanbase path und server is all the same one.
We want to set default entries for the connection in our installation package.
Our developers use more than one workspace and more than one conmnection at each workspace.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Application Platform
    Product - Synergy

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Rational
Product family - Product & application lifecycle management
    Product - Synergy

Here is the work around for getting this work.

    1. Create a workspace within eclipse directory (at the same level as eclipse.exe).
    2. Start Eclipse and create a Synergy repository connection and save it.
    3. Zip the eclipse directory which can be shared among other users.

Users will be able to use the same workspace directory created in step 1 where the connection info is maintained.
If user wants to use another workspace and to retain the already created connections, then they have to copy files under
    .metadata\.plugins\com.ibm.rational.synergy.integration.connection\_connections and
    .metadata\.plugins\com.ibm.rational.synergy.integration.ui
to their new workspace's .metadata\.plugins folder.
This would ensure persisting the Synergy repository connections.

Thank you for taking the time to suggest an enhancement to our product. Many of our product enhancements result from feedback from our customers, so your input is always very important to us. We do not have plans to address your request in the near future due to limited time and many competing priorities, but may consider it at a later time. Again, thank you for your suggestion and continued support!
