This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Platform products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Setting the Terminate Threads setting to Yes (default is No) is described as having the following effect: "Determines when a threaded step fails. All other active thread blocks in the same project are stopped", which is what we want to happen. Refer to https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/rational-build-forge/8.0?topic=administration-system-configuration-settings
However, we have experienced that when this setting is set to Yes, a failing threaded step does NOT fail the project if it is followed by a threaded step that completes successfully before the failing step.
We have to be able to rely on the Build Forge run result being accurate. We now have to eyeball the log of every successful run to ensure it does not contain a failed step.
Refer to Case TS013662089. People I worked with on this include:
Brad Galla
Raghavendra Baskar
Ansuman Mahapatra
