Text Editor Color Schemes

This issue was entered earlier, but I mistakenly omitted the word
"text" in front of "editor". The following comment is quoted from the
"Resolved Issues" section below, since IBM's response was directed
toward graphical editing, not text editing (my fault). Also note that
what was originally meant, in summary, was that instead of the given
white background scheme and all coloring that goes with it (by default,
e.g. black text), it would be nice if there was a black background
scheme to switch to with a '''single''' Preference, and it would have a
different set of default colors (e.g. white text) associated with it.
"Editor color schemes, per sae, don't exist. At a minimum, can RSART
add a white/black background scheme choice, rather than having to enter
10-20 individual general and syntax-highlighting color choices to
effect this? Even using this very cumbersome technique, highlighting
regions does not work correctly from a color standpoint, as everything
that is highlighted for cutting/pasting turns into two colors:
foreground and background."

As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion.

This idea is either outdated or has been implemented in one of the versions. Please check with latest version (V 12.0 at the time of writing)

The offering team has carefully reviewed this idea and has decided that it does not fit into our current plans, so the idea will be closed. The idea will be kept in IBM's ideas repository and may still be voted on. It might be reassessed or reopened for additional feedback in the future. We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us the privilege of partnering with you in developing our products.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Application Platform
Product - Software Architect Real Time Edition

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Rational
Product family - Design & development
Product - Software Architect Real Time Edition

To clarify based off of our call today, yes. Both the main window CDT editor and code view window. We can get this to work by changing MANY individual settings- but there is no grouping of them similar to how most other moder editors work. This makes setting up a new workspace very tedious.

Our main concern is the built-in source editor in the main window and the code view source editor. The code editor, be that the small one or a larger one, when ever i am editing code i would like to easily change the colors so that i can have a dark background with light text. colors for syntax highlighting would also be nice. These options already exist, but you have to change every parameter yourself. This is very time consuming. RSARTE should have a selectable configuration that would get you there with a single click, (just like almost every other code editor in existence)

Are there any specific text editor like Rich Text Editor / Plain Text Editor / Code View?
