We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas
Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,
Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive a notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
If you encounter any issues accessing the Ideas portals, please send email describing the issue to firstname.lastname@example.org for resolution.

For some time now we use precompiled headers:https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc-4.7.0/gcc/Precompiled-Headers.html As each compilation unit includes the RTSystem file first, that file is a perfect candidate for a precompiled header. As we're now ju...
Add public TargetRTS APIs for RTActor, RTMutex etc.
The RSARTE TargetRTS contains lots of classes with many public or protected methods which can be very useful for the SW engineer. It would be great if these classes were modeled in the RSARTE project explorer so that the user could easily access t...
Introduce a command to start a combined code and model level debugging session

Add live validation for Choice Points without an "else" branch
Please introduce live validation for Choice Points (CP) without an "else" branch. It is possible to trigger a transition to a CP and then have no condition which ensures you leave the CP - you land in no-mans land. Compare this with junction point...
Custom plugins are built based on using the provided APIs. It is a must to be able to redefine operations automatically but there is not such feature in the public API. We expect RTRedefineOperationCommand functionality to be part of the API.
Due to a corruption in model file, statemachine of a capsule was no longer displayable(exception is reported) and thus modifiable by user. No errors are reported while loading models, thus user assumes no problem. Users would like to be aware of m...
'Compare With'->'Each Other' for absorbed model fragments.
Model fragments have Compare With->Each Other however this option is missing for absorbed model fragments. As a workaround: Refactor->Create Fragment for both fragments does allow Compare With->Each Other
