WebSphere Automation air-gap configuration for self-secure

Document and support the approach for disconnected environments that are not able to connect directly to x-force or WAS security bulletin feed. For example automated but standalone capture of CVE/PSIRTs followed by out-of-band transfer and upload.

This has two aspects:

  • Installation in an air-gap environment - no network connectivity to download and perform installation)

  • Execution / running in an air-gap environment - how will clients obtain the needed information we pull from ibm.com (e.g. Security Bulletins) and "push" that information into the system to be able to provide the notifications and other aspects that require this information

Air Gap run instructions will be added to product documentation in the near future.
