We have recently integrated all our WebSphere environments into the WebSphere Automation platform, which has been a significant step forward in our infrastructure management. However, we are encountering challenges in navigating through the extensive list of servers (365 in total) within the platform.
Specifically, we find it cumbersome to locate the servers we need to patch or run heap dumps on, as navigating through 15 pages of servers proves to be time-consuming and inefficient. As a result, we believe there is a crucial enhancement opportunity to streamline this process and improve the usability of the platform.
Furthermore, while we appreciate the capability to view heap dumps through the platform's health feature, we believe it would be immensely beneficial to also have the functionality to create heap dumps directly from the health dashboard. This enhancement would significantly enhance our operational efficiency and reduce the time required for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
Despite the considerable effort we have invested in setting up and configuring WebSphere Automation over the past six months, we continue to face these challenges. We genuinely feel that the platform may not have been fully ready for sale as a production-ready product from IBM at this stage.
