Change Scripting API to return 'null' or 'None' value when a property is 'empty' instead of a 'Missing Property Exception'

Currently, when using the scripting API, if a property is 'empty' (i.e. when a build runs but does not have any source 'Issues' associated), then the API returns a Java 'Missing Property Exception'.
It would be nice to see the API complete in a more elegant manner - returning a 'null' or 'None' value instead of abending.

    Please arrange for meeting with customer to understand more details of the requirement with screenshots or scripts or set of steps that would help the development team to analyse and decide on the delivery of this request.

    Would it be possible to explain the details of the step in order to reproduce this issue using UI ?
    If it is purely reproducible using API in a script, would it be possible to share the script for analysis ?
