Manual Tasks/Approval tasks should support use of properties in comment prompt

Currently Manual Tasks/Approval tasks do not support use of properties in comment prompt. If we can pass properties then it will be easy to identify for which version/snapshot the approval is needed. We understand that in the notification template we can provide properties however due to security restriction we are not allowed to enable SMTP settings so we do not send emails or use notification templates in our environment. In the task comment prompt we are able to provide additional details but when we use properties they are not getting resolved.

    The development team has reviewed this request and the development team would like your input on which of the two items would be your highest priority. Would it be the manual task or the environment approval task? Can you please let us know?

    We are planning to consider the manual task for now and the environment approval task will be addressed in a next release. Please do let us know your priority. The environment approval is a little more work as we have to support both the built-in approval mechanism and the external approval process mechanism. Thank you.
