Currently when a patch is provided by product team we have to do complete outage of UCD that includes below steps
Enable maintenance mode
Pause all running deployments
Stop all deploy server nodes
Apply patch and start all deploy server nodes
Disable maintenance mode
Resume all deployments
Doing all this steps takes time and there is outage on UCD during this.
This impact lot of users who have their deployments scheduled and if there is UCD outage they have to reschedule their deployments and plans.
UCD should be built in a way that when a patch is applied complete outage should not be required.
