RELATED IDEAS

Object Archival

This idea is to allow the archival of objects in UrbanCode such as, Applications, Environments, Components and Resources. We often get requests from users to remove objects that are no longer required however these objects need to be maintained due to retention policies. Archival would allow us to retire objects so they are no longer visible to the users whilst remaining compliant.

    Edward, our development team reviewed this RFE and the team suggested creating a new Team in UCD that is used for Archival purposes. The process would include moving the Applications/Components to that Archival Team so that other users that are not a member of that team will no longer see the older objects in the UCD Web Console. Would a solution like this one work for you? We could arrange a call to discuss this approach in more detail with the developer that made the suggestion. Please let us know your thoughts. Thank you!
