Better clarification when deleting resources from environment and resource tree.

When deleting resources from the UCD UI, there is no clarity on whether the resource is being deleted locally(from the environment) or globally(from the resource tree). Maybe a warning or message to the user will help with a confirmation before the actual deletion takes place. Message could be like the following:


for local deletions:

"This resource will be deleted locally from the environment. The resource will still exist in the resource tree. Do you want to continue?"


for global deletions:

"This resource will be deleted globally from the resource tree permanently. Do you want to continue?"

    Yes that is correct. There is a plan to adress accidental resource tree deletions.

    I just wanted to check if this RFE/IDEA can be solved with the same planned feature.

    The environment was deleted and all resources under it got deleted globally.

    I have referenced the PMR(TS011593682) we opened with IBM when I posted this idea. Can you refer to that for details. There was an accidental deletion of resources and after further discussion with IBM, they said the following in the PMR.


    We plan to do something to address accidental resource tree deletions in future version. We also plan to change the checkbox for resource deletion when deleting an environment.

    Please could you describe when and where this happens? What do you want to delete from which view and what dialog appears?
