In GM, security team is enforcing all the application teams to automate the password rotation process through LEO for the accounts used in the UCD application, The accounts for which we store the password within the application somewhere. We have two types of accounts used in the UCD application - a. Service account and b. SQL DB account. For DB account, it was simple and had been successful in 2021 but for Service account, it appears lot of complexity involved. I will be able to rotate the password using internal process, but there is no solution or rest API to inject that new password into the place the password for SI account is stored, in this case database. Need Rest API or some other solution to update the new password in DB for Service account used in Authorization and Authentication realms.
