For Multi Schema DB Deployments : Need Input Parameter in sql plus plugin to set default schema for db operation

We are working on a multimillion dollar DevOps Transformation for du Telecom. This involves streamlining Deployments of Legacy Telco Applications to uDeploy Platform.

Overall Licensing cost of IBM Tools - IBM RTC, IBM uDeploy, IBM uRelease is more than 5 million dollar. And if we are able to onboard Production Deployment to uDeploy, this revenue would persist for another 5+ years.

For multi-schema DB Deployments, we have a requirement to pass schema name as input parameter to existing udeploy plugin- sqlplus. With dedicated db user, we need to deployment multiple db script into multiple schemas, and it is getting complicated without any mechanism to set schema name as input parameter, we have to repeat the process for each of the schemas.

In PROD environment we only have one DB user, but we need to deploy to multiple schemas.

And use ALTER SESSION to select the schema.

But cannot add the schema in front of any queries.

We require the SQLPLUS plug-in to have a feature that can pass the schema name as a parameter.

As a a workaround, we are using liquibase db versioning tool commands in our UCD deployment workflow. But for applications, for which liquibase implementation is not feasible we have got stuck. There are around 20+ critical applications, whose deployment onboarding to udeploy is blocked.

So can you please look for a feature similar to the Liquibase 'liquibase-schema-name parameter', which allows you to pass the target schema.

We need to have it in 3-4 weeks time, so could you please prioritize the implementation of this feature or any workaround to pass schema name as parameter.
