UCD automatically handles JCL that exceeds the character limit per line after substituting

While I was trying to use OCOPY in our pipeline via "Submit JCL" step, I had to hard-coded the file name like below since the continuation for HFS Path has to be cut off at column 71, and starting next line at column 16 according to https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/how-do-you-code-continuation-card-hfs-path-statement

//HFSIN DD PATH='/u/xxxxxxxx/workspace/Mainframe/OpenshiftAPITrigger

// -0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar',

I would like to replace the file name with a variable however currently it seems there is no built-in method to handle the continuation with variables.

    Hey Oz,

    This is an idea that actually came from one of my clients RBC. I had a working session with them a while back to help them with some things that they were struggling with in UCD for their Z deployments. And this issue came up. This had been the third time a client brought up this problem to me and the only way to handle it was to take out the UCD property and hard code the value. It would be a great feature to add to the step.

    Regards,
