Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive a notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
If you encounter any issues accessing the Ideas portals, please send email describing the issue to firstname.lastname@example.org for resolution.

UCV Proxy support for Service Now tasks in Deployment plans
The RFE is about UCV - ServiceNow integration (from Velocity Deployment plans, NOT import in Value stream). When creating Service Now tasks in UCV deployment plans: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSCKX6_2.1.x/com.ibm.crelease.doc/topics/cr_taskType_serviceNow.html we need to set a proxy to allow connection to the Service Now instance in Cloud. We need it for Create CR and Update CR tasks. During task creation, UCV allows to indicate only Service Now instance, User and password.
During a customer PoC I installed Velocity on RHOCP;
In deployment plans we need to create a CR in customer's Service Now instance to indicate that a release started, then we need to update the CR at release completion.
We created a "ServiceNow create change request" in a deployment plan related to a pipeline, but it's not working; we get a generic error in Velocity and we don't see any activity in ServiceNow.
We verified that the communication from RHOCP cluster on premises to the ServiceNow cloud instance needs to set a proxy (without authentication), but it is not possible in the UCV task configuration.
We would need a proxy address field in the "Connection settings" area of the task configuration, in addition to ServiceNow instance, user and password.
See attached error and task configuration images.
