We currently use the Blueprint Designer tool to create blueprints for provisioning environments via Urbancode Deploy. We are migrating from the engine we used (Heat) to the Terraform engine. However we note that it is not possible to provision environments via the Urbancode Deploy interface when creating Terraform blueprints in the Blueprint Designer tool.
We need to make the engine change due to problems encountered in some features between Heat and the VRA 7.4 cloud we use in Dataprev. IBM support has indicated that the change should be made. However we need that the same features that we have with the use of the Heat are made available with the use of Terraform, to highlight:
1) Creation of environment in the urbancode deploy application environment interface
2) The properties like user and password urbancode do not have to be provided at the time of provisioning (this already happens with the Heat provisioning)
3) You can view the complete history of the provisioning via Urbancode deploy (including provisioning of machines in the VRA cloud and execution of the processes of the components)
4) It should be possible to select configuration files, similar to the use with the Heat

Blueprint Designer is now depreciated please have a look here in this Announcement.
In IBM DevOps Deploy 8.0, the Blueprint Designer add-on tool for modeling cloud environments and virtual system patterns is no longer shipped with the IBM DevOps Deploy product and is no longer supported.
Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.
Dear Team,
We want this feature, else this will hinder our automation process.
Pls fix this at the earliest
