Invoke a Deployment Trigger using the Component Tag

HCL (hayden.s@hcl.com) Provided a demo of UCD 7.1 showing new External Deployment Trigger.
In the demo the Application Process deployment trigger was initiated on the import of a new version to specific components at the environment level.
In our implementations we have a number of Micro-services represented as individual components (created and grouped by their corresponding Component templates).
These are assigned to the environment using appropriate Component tags at the environment resource level.
Is it possible to invoke a Deployment Trigger using the Component Tag as opposed to listing each component individually at the environment level ?

Koby (JonathanP@hcl.com) suggested:
"The feature does not currently support component tags; however, if that would produce a lot of value for you, I recommend submitting a RFE. If you create a RFE, I can create an internal work item and advocate for its acceptance."

Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.

A preliminary evaluation of this request indicates that it is consistent with our business strategy. Further evaluation of this RFE is underway.
