RELATED IDEAS

Enhancement required in auditing framework to include below changes done through admin console.

We are sending websphere audit log to SEIM to identify critical events.

During the testing we identified the below security configurations done through websphere console is not getting audited and not part of audit log.

a) Disabling Global Security (Administrative security)

b) Disabling applicaiton security

c) Disabling java 2 security

These critical changes done through admin console need to be part of auditing framework, so that the SEIM can identify and alert. Considering we are in banking industry, auditing of such events are of high priority and request to consider this requirement at the earliest.
