    It is already possible to stop and start activation specs. There are details in the following technote:

    Note that this is accessed through the application rather than the activation spec binding.
    If this is not sufficient, then please provide more details of the specific use cases for which the feature is being requested.

    • We need a feature in Activation spec same as Listener Port where we can stop the Listeners to avoid picking the message on one side
    • There is a feature available in activation spec called Pause – which is auto resumed once the server started
