Remains of MTOM uploads should be removed from file system when uploads gets cancelled

We tried to use WebServices and MTOM to transport really big files (10GB, CAD data). Since uploading these files takes some time, always a certain percentage of clients will cancel the upload. WebSphereAS buffers all these files temporarily in the server's file system. If a client cancels the upload WAS will not remove the buffered file from the file system. Regarding the big size of the files this can cause a file system storage outage and therefore has to be considered as a stability risk.

So the RFE is: WAS should automatically remove remainders of cancelled MTOM file uploads from the server file system.

    Thank you for the suggestion. The requirement does have merit, but looking at it with respect to our total backlog of requests we do not see sufficient interest in this enhancement to merit delivery any time in the foreseeable future. Given the unlikelihood that we would deliver this, we are declining the request rather than leaving it in an uncommitted state for an extended period of time.
