ldapregistry support to posixGroup in liberty

https://github.ibm.com/IBMPrivateCloud/roadmap/issues/10204

We are using ldapregistry in liberty to support OIDC authentication in ICP.

Currently it is supporting LDAP groups with member attribute configured with full DNs, like:

dn: cn=group1, cn=groups,dc=domain,dc=com
....
memberUid: uid=user1,cn=users,dc=domain,dc=com
memberUid: uid=user2,cn=users,dc=domain,dc=com

In this case, the call to userInfo for any user, returns the data about groupIds which user belongs to.

{"sub":"pavan","groupIds":["cn=testgroup,ou=Group,dc=ibm,dc=com"],"iss":"https:\/\/mycluster.icp:9443\/oidc\/endpoint\/OP"}

But it doesn't support the concept of POSIX groups, where the members in the groups are represented as UIDs, not full DNs, like:

dn: cn=group1, cn=groups,dc=domain,dc=com
....
memberUid: user1
memberUid: user2

memberUid can be user uid or email address.
In this case, the call to userInfo for any user, doesn't return the data about groupIds which user belongs to.

{"sub":"pavan","iss":"https:\/\/mycluster.icp:9443\/oidc\/endpoint\/OP"}

Is there any option in ldapregistry to resolve member attribute value as simple id (as in memberUID of posixGroup) instead of as full distinguished names such as in the uniqueMember field of groupOfUniqueNames ?.

    Thank you for the suggestion. The requirement does have merit, but looking at it with respect to our total backlog of requests we do not see sufficient interest in this enhancement to merit delivery any time in the foreseeable future. Given the unlikelihood that we would deliver this, we are declining the request rather than leaving it in an uncommitted state for an extended period of time. If you would like to discuss this decision further, please contact Graham Charters <charters@uk.ibm.com>
