Request to; increase max number of parameters passed when deploying service programs as web services.
When deploying a REST Web service based on a rpg service program (*srvpgm) the number of possible parameters passed is to low to be able to properly use post, put, get, delete etc... procedures in the source that translates to HTTP methods in the deployed REST web service. This counteracts the fundamental concept of REST web services.
The work around is then to create multiple source programs (*pgm) to create the same functionality and beeing able to pass adequate number of parameters. For example ISO20022 formats. But that then removes the benefits of using REST and the HTTP methods that comes with it.
