N-ary associations, connectors and links

We would like to be able to draw N-ary (i.e. with more than two ends) associations, association classes, connectors and links as described in the paragraphs 7.3.3, 7.3.4 and 8.3.2 of the UML 2.1.2 Superstructure, dated 07-11-02, and visualized in figure 8.18 of the same document. The N-ary links are not directly described in the specification, but are implicitely needed to visualize the instantiations of the N-ary associations, association classes, and connectors.

As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The offering team has carefully reviewed this idea and has decided that it does not fit into our current plans, or the idea has aged or has been implemented, so the idea will be closed. The idea will be kept in IBM's ideas repository and may still be voted on. It might be reassessed or reopened for additional feedback in the future. We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us the privilege of partnering with you in developing our products.

This has been moved out of 9.0. This is an uncommitted candidate

We have planned to be using RSA (for Development) in connection with System Architect (for Enterprise Architecture). The plan is to use the exchange facility and it was a big surprise to discover that N-ary associations are not supported in RSA.
N-ary associations are heavily used in our information model (banking) and I would like to have an update from Development on the plans for this request.
