Enhancements to attached file types

IRAM needs to be updated to automatically recognize file extensions for current common used types of files. Right now, it only appears to automatically recognize and process *.doc, *.ppt, *.xls. But there are many other file extensions used (e.g., txt. docx, pdf, xlsx, xls. odt, zip). Here is an illustration of how iRAM treats them differently.

After uploading files for a new asset, an asset creator has to mark the checkboxes manually, one-by-one if they want them to be published in the asset.See example in the attached screen shot below

Either the table of recognized extensions needs to be updated or IRAM should automatically list all uploaded files independently from their type which would save significant time for asset creators when submitting or updating an asset.

This request lacks sufficient information for us to evaluate it. It might not be considered further until it has been revised and clarified.
In ram advanced configuration page, the url is like http:////admin/repository/advancedConfiguration.faces
There is a section which is to set featured content. You could increase the Maximum Featured Contents value or change the priority of the extensions or add other type of extension.
the Maximum Featured Contents mean when you upload the files, the default file num which would showed on details page. You could also select/deselect the files on details page.
See if this feature could satisfy you.
    Thanks a lot.
