Support for setting CPU ratio to values below 8:1 in empty Logical Workload Environments
With Logical Workload Environments, clients can deploy multiple Workload Environments within a single Virtual Manager Cloud Group. A LWE is a partition of a VMCG space for PureApplication Software creation and management of workloads within that VMCG. There can be multiple LWEs in a VMCG, as many as there are PAS sharing that VMCG.
Problem: In the case of a new LWE being added to a VMCG with already existing LWEs, the CPU stacking ratio is set at 8:1 by default, and because there are VMs already existing in previous LWEs, the PAS for the new LWE considers the new LWE is not empty (while it has no VM on it) and does not allow to set a lower ratio (only a higher one).
