Session Timeout overwritted on Devops Deploy after upgrade

The web.xml config is replaced everytime a new Devops Deploy version is installed. It would be great to have a customized setting on GUI "Server Settings" to manage the Timeout (by default 30 minutes) instead of going to specific configuration file on server.

    Hi Randy,

The web.xml is a configuration file where is included the timeout configuration on Devops Deploy. This file is on the following server path: /server/opt/tomcat/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/web.xml

Our team of Developers requested to keep the sessions alive for more than 30 minutes so changing the <session-timeout>30</session-timeout> we could cusotmize this and solve the issue. However, we found out that when upgrading the version of the product this configuration is overwritted and set again to default "30".

As administrators we would like to have this feature on "System Setting" to modify easily the session timeout instead of going to the server everytime an upgrade is coming. Hope I have clarified now our request.

    Thank you,

    BR.

For this idea, could you please share more information around your request? We don't understand what you are asking for. Is there a particular setting in the System Settings you are speaking of? Can you please share the use case for why you want this? We need more information before we can proceed. Thank you. I am moving this idea to the 'Needs more information' state.

    Hello Jose,

I have moved your new IDEA/RFE to the right workspace where DevOps Deploy is represented and visible to the product manager for DevOps Deploy.
