MDB requests can be displayed by MODIFY [jobname.]identifier,DISPLAY,WORK command in WAS Liberty

Backgrounds
The customer is migrating from WAS for z/OS Traditional to WAS for z/OS Liberty. During the migration, many incompatibilities have been identified between WAS for z/OS Traditional and WAS for z/OS Liberty. We understand that WAS for z/OS Traditional and WAS for z/OS Liberty are different products; however, from the customer’s perspective, IBM recommends migration to WAS for z/OS Liberty, nevertheless some mandatory functions are not implemented in WAS Liberty, which is considered a functional regression by the customer.

Problem
Currently, MDB requests are not displayed by MODIFY [jobname.]identifier,DISPLAY,WORK command in WAS for z/OS Liberty. Customer exploit the functionality in WAS for z/OS Traditional to monitor the banking online transaction which is running on MDB. The lack of this capability means that there is no way to monitor the MDB transaction, which is a critical lack of operational monitoring. This is not acceptable for banking customer who runs MDB in mission critical online system.

Customer Request
The customer requests IBM for MDB requests to be displayed by MODIFY [jobname.]identifier,DISPLAY,WORK command in WAS for z/OS Liberty. This is mandatory for all customers who use MDB online transaction system, not only particular customer.
