This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Platform products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

This may be accomplished with existing functionality. I believe your lab advocate provided an example of how to achieve what you needed for this idea.
Dev said to try this which has been tested and did work:
Create two properties (i suggest system) that parameterizes the first part of a parameter and the last bracket:
propStart = ${p:
rightBracket=}
Then change your reference in the component process step from this:
${p:agent/{p:application/mnemonic}.agent.propertyname}
to:
${p:propStart}agent/${p:application/mnemonic}agent.propertyname${p:rightBracket}
The first pass will change that string to:
${p:agent/A.agent.propertyname}
Then, on the second pass we will resolve the fully resolved property name.
Try it out and we can discuss on Thursday.
Thank you for submitting this idea. I have created a discussion topic for this RFE with our development team and it will be reviewed next week in their back2design meetings. I am moving this to the 'Under review' state. Thank you again!
