Historical records in Z Search to cover audit information requests for Mainframe applications

We have internal and external request for different audit processes asking when a specific version of a Mainframe file was deployed. For example, certain functionality was added to a routine and we need to know when that functionality reached production.

With current Z Search and Linked Packages we would be able to get that information if the routine has not been deployed again in a later change. Historical records in Z Search would allow us to get the information we need.

We mention Z Search here because we think is the best way to explain the problem, but any way of retrieving the information when a specificic file in Mainframe was deployed will be more than welcome.
