Create Public exposed API to audit records ds_audit_entry based on event type LOGIN, Read, CREATE etc.

This request is to raise an idea in order to have an standarized API call to be able to this SQL query.

 

SELECT * FROM DS_AUDIT_ENTRY WHERE EVENT_TYPE = 'CREATE' AND OBJ_TYPE = 'GROUP' 

Kindly let me know if we can get on a call regarding this table and how to filter the data to get to know about user actions .

In regards to the API for the 'Download' function of the audit logs, We do not have a publically expose api call for this , 

This is the internal call that gets called when you click on the "Download as CSV" button in the Audit Log tab in the Deploy UI.

    Hi Randy,

    Due all our infra is fully based on z/Os agents it would be great to be able to audit somehow the deployment performed. The 250 limit may work us if you think this way we don't compromise the database.

    Our development team would like to ask you for more details around your use case. Could you please share the use case in as much detail as possible? The team is concerned that the result set could be very large. They would like to impoose an upper limit for the result set. Our suggestion is 250. Could you please let us know your thoughts? I am moving this Idea to the 'Needs more information' state for now. Thank you.
