Large LSF deployment of tens of thousands systems. VM and LSF nodes are SLES Linux. Servers are Solaris x86.

Occasionally a user will experience VOB access permission denied messages. It is intermittent.

PMRs have been opened and closed several times with no root cause identified.

Request here is to Validate ClearCase works with VAS.

For example if VAS adds latency or returns some value the ClearCase doesn't understand.

Please confirm that this should be a supported configuration.

    ClearCase is largely authentication-agnostic. We have always assisted with issues regarding authentication issues. The only known issues are when VAS times out, or a user is a member of thousands of groups. The latter case is handled better in current ClearCase releases
