Cadence/ClearCase integration should handle evil twins

As a Cadence Virtuoso user, I want to be able to use Library Manager or the Cadence editor window to check in cellviews (schematic, symbol, layout, ...) without any need to go to the command line. In case an evil twin exists (e.g.: the cellview was already checked in before, but removed with "ct rmname"), the Cadence/ClearCase integration should show a dialog, informing the user about the evil twin situation, and offer the choice to abort the operation, to revive the existing element, or to create the evil twin nonetheless.
An alternative implementation would be to offer a choice in the checkin preferences settings to always either abort, revive or create the evil twin.

As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The offering team has carefully reviewed this idea and has decided that it does not fit into our current plans, or the idea has aged or has been implemented, so the idea will be closed. The idea will be kept in IBM's ideas repository and may still be voted on. It might be reassessed or reopened for additional feedback in the future. We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us the privilege of partnering with you in developing our products.

Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.
