ClearCase - Samba and Winbind

Since we are working on clearcase10 installation on RHEL8 servers. As of now completed most of the installation tasks but we got stuck in samba configurations. The RHEL8 server is required samba with winbind configurations to authenticate users through LDAP, unfortunately we don’t get any reference for it. Also, we have raised incidents with IBM and Redhat (from server team) till now not received any workaround from both for this issue.

We hope IBM has been tested the clearcase10 in RHEL8 server along with samba and winbind, LDAP. There must be some references from IBM for this issue or any documents if you share those details that would be more helpful for us to complete the samba and winbind installation in RHEL8.

Is there any possibility to connect with the respective team who have been worked on these technologies for clearcase10 with RHEL8.?

Our existing RHEL7 with ClearCase9 environment samba is working without winbind support. In RHEL8 only winbind is mandatory for samba.

Whether samba can work or not in clearcase10 on RHEL8?

Can you help us to get the fix for samba and winbind issue on cleacase10.
