Support background license checks in ClearQuest.

In environments using a central (or regional) IBM License key server, ClearQuest login times are proportional to the amount of time it takes to check out ClearQuest (and potentially ClearQuest MultiSite) licenses. This also directly impacts the performance of any product integrating with ClearQuest.

    As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The offering team has carefully reviewed this idea together with engineering and found the licensing mechanism works as designed and provided by licensing software provider (FLEXLM), so the idea will be closed. Please verify your licensing server setup.

    The idea will be kept in IBM's ideas repository and may still be voted on. It might be reassessed or reopened for additional feedback in the future. We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us the privilege of partnering with you in developing our products.
