Penetration_test : Outdated Software (CQ)

Applications, operating systems and network infrastructure with unpatched security vulnerabilities might be targeted and compromised by attackers, using publicly known or specially crafted exploits. Depending on the type and severity of the present security flaws, the usage of outdated software might put further system components at risk.

    The Servlet API is provided by WebSphere Application Server (WAS). WAS 9.0 or above supports Servlet 3.1. See the topic Java Servlet considerations for more details.
