Liberty supports loading configuration from the configDropins/default, configDropins/overrides and the server.xml file. This can result in multiple configuration files, and it can be hard to determine what the server is actually running with.

Loading data source for @DataSourceDefinition from application in Liberty

Today under WCG we can run workload under different Service Classes as defined in our WLM policy within the Batch Container. It would appear that under Liberty Profile and JSR-352 all work will run under the Service Class of the Server address space.
